Senate Bill 962 (PN 2257)(Holl)   Amends the Insurance Department Act as it relates to licensing, enforcement and repeals. A4620 (Holl) was a technical amendment to the bill which was unanimously approved.

Senate Bill 1452 (PN 2040) (Greenleaf)   The Judicial Code is amended to add two judges to the Court of Common Pleas for Bucks County, one judge to the Court of Common Pleas for Mercer County and one judge to the Court of Common Pleas for Northampton County.  A4475 (Thompson) added an additional judge in the 40th Judicial District (Indiana County).  The amendment was unanimously approved.  A4330 (Dent) would extend the time period for the election for the judgeship added for the 3rd judicial district (Northampton County.)  It was unanimously adopted.

He claimed that there were no guarantees from companies who get low loans, and that he would like input to be sure that distressed communities are the beneficiaries of these loans. It was agreed, and Holl and White seemed sympathetic, that the bill would be reported out with the amendment, and that this concern could be raised on the floor as an amendment.) 15-9
