Assessors Certification Act as it relates to nonapplicability of assessors in
second class counties.
House Bill 2298 (PN 3198)(Benninghoff) This bill creates the
permanent identification labeling of dentures act.

Senate Bill 859 (PN 1913)(Robbins) This bill amends the Unfair
Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law to clearly state for advertising
purposes whether or not a musical performance is being conducted by the original
members of a group or individuals composing a tribute group.
House Bill 109 (PN 4643)(E.Z.Taylor) This bill regulates the
operation of tanning facilities and the registration of people operating such
facilities.
House Bill 2384 (PN 4644)(Semmel) This bill amends the
Underground Utility Line Protection Law to further provide for duties,fines and
penalties under the One Call System.
As Amended (8-6):
House Bill 30 (PN 4645)(Adolph) This bill reauthorizes Chapter
30 regulations which require the state's telephone companies to bring their
networks up to modern standards and provide all state residents with access to
broadband high-speed internet service.

House Bill 445 (PN 4074) (Nailor) This bill creates the
"Sign Language Interpreters and Transliterators Act" to require the
registration of certified interpreters/transliterators with the Department
of Labor & Industry.
House Bill 2090 (PN 4075)(Fichter) This bill amends the
Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law to clarify the right of
consumers to rescind contracts in emergency situations for goods or services
exceeding $25 on the buyer's residential property.

House Bill 304 (PN 350) (Maitland) This bill amends the
Medical Practice Act to authorize a physician from outside of Pennsylvania
to order home care services for a patient in Pennsylvania.
House Bill 506 (PN 1647) (Reichley) This bill
amends Title 18 (Crimes) to clarify that a person commits the offense of
deceptive or fraudulent business practices if the person intentionally,
knowingly or recklessly engages in certain deceptive business practices.
House Bill 1438 (PN 1784) (J. Taylor) This bill amends
the Occupational Therapy Act to permit a licensed occupational therapist to
implement occupational therapy to an individual for a specific medical
condition based on a referral from a licensed optometrist.

professionals and for continuing respiratory care education.

Special Assistants within the commission.

This bill amends the Crimes Code to add certain practices by accountants
to the list of deceptive or fraudulent business practices.
