WASHINGTON TO ADDRESS CHILDREN & YOUTH SERVICES: A “QUIET CRISIS”

DETAILS:  Senator Washington will host the Senate Aging & Youth Committee’s Public Hearing on the “quiet crisis” in the children & youth system in Pennsylvania.

                 Public and Private providers will provide testimony on the impact of federal budget cuts, needs-based budgeting and other challenges that impact deleteriously on their ability to provide adequate service to abused, neglected, and juvenile delinquents – services mandated by the state.
