WASHINGTON ANNOUNCES HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES DAY FOR FAMILIES

            HARRISBURG, October 10 — State Sen. Leanna M. Washington (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery) today announced the third annual Health & Human Services Day for Families.

            The event, which is co-hosted with Abington Memorial Hospital, takes place on Saturday, Oct. 13 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Crestmont Community, 2200 Hamilton Ave. in Willow Grove, Pa.

“This annual event is a beneficial and fun outing for the entire family,” Washington said. “I encourage parents and children alike to take part in the Health & Human Services Day for Families, which offers plenty of advice and information.”

There will be vendors representing the following agencies: Montgomery County Department of Health, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Mental Health & Mental Retardation, Children & Youth, CADCOM, Aging & Adult Services, Aldersgate Youth Services Bureau and the Dental Clinic from Abington Memorial Hospital.
