WASHINGTON ANNOUNCES TOWN MEETING ON STATE’S PLAN ON AGING

             PHILADELPHIA, March 18: State Sen. LeAnna Washington (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery) encourages constituents to attend an upcoming town meeting on the state plan on aging.

            The meeting, hosted by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, will take place on Tuesday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at PECO Energy Hall, 2301 Market St.

            “Pennsylvania has a significant and growing aging population, so it’s important that we discuss the needs of this group of citizens,” said Washington, who is the Democratic chairwoman of the Senate Aging and Youth Committee. “I encourage individuals to attend this upcoming meeting and share your ideas for providing the best services for older Pennsylvanians.”
