WASHINGTON HOSTS ENERGY CONSERVATION SUMMIT

PHILADELPHIA, April 2 Residents can obtain information on how to conserve energy and reduce their energy bills at an upcoming Energy Conservation Summit, sponsored by state Sen. LeAnna Washington (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery).

“All of us can take some simple steps to use energy more efficiently,” Washington said. “With costs of heating and cooling going up and gas prices rising, these tips will help save citizens valuable dollars.”

The Energy Conservation Summit will take place on Friday, April 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 1350 E. Vernon Road in Philadelphia.

Experts from the PA Public Utility Commission, Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), PECO Energy, AARP, Energy Coordination Agency and the Mayor’s Office of Community Services will be present.
