WASHINGTON TO HOST 5^th ANNUAL HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES DAY

            HARRISBURG, May 26 — State Sen. LeAnna M. Washington (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery) will join with Abington Memorial Hospital to host the 5^th annual Health and Human Services Day on Saturday, June 13 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Crestmont Community Center, 2200 Hamilton Avenue, Willow Grove.

“This Health and Human Services Day is a wonderful opportunity for the community to learn what resources are available to them for the most important services they need,” Washington said.  “I encourage all citizens of the district to join me at this essential event.”

The event will feature several vendors and information providers, including:

·         Montgomery County Health Department

·         CHIP Program

·         Montgomery County Mental Retardation

·         Montgomery County Children & Youth

·         Deaf Services

·         Montgomery County Drug and Alcohol

·         CADCOM

·         Montgomery County Aging & Adult Services

·         Aldersgate Youth Services Bureau

·         CareerLink and many more

            The event will also feature free refreshments for all participants, as well as games, raffles, prizes, a gospel choir and praise dancers.  Families are encouraged to bring their children
