WASHINGTON OFFERS TAX PREPARATION SERVICES AT DISTRICT OFFICES

            HARRISBURG, February 9 — State Sen. LeAnna Washington (D-Montgomery/Philadelphia) announced today that she is offering tax preparation services at her district offices.

            “Preparing taxes can be a daunting task for anyone,” Washington said.  “By having professional tax preparers available, constituents can ensure their taxes are prepared correctly, eliminating any mistakes or delays.”

Tax preparation services are being offered in the Montgomery County District Office (215-517-1434) and in the Wadsworth Avenue District Office (215-242-0472).

Services are available to constituents who are eligible to file 1040, 1040 A and 1040 EZ returns.  This service is free for low income individuals, and appointments must be made in advance.  The offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
