WEST CHESTER,

–
State Senator Andy Dinniman recently visited
Phoenixville Area High School to commend
student members of Teens Against Tobacco Use
for their efforts against teen smoking.
“I want to applaud the members of Teens
Against Tobacco Use for having the courage
to stand up and speak out against tobacco
abuse among their peers,” Dinniman said.
“It’s also great to see young people
learning how they can change their
communities for the better through advocacy
efforts like this one.
Dinniman talked to students about advocacy
activities that promote tobacco-free
environments. He also discussed
Pennsylvania’s recently enacted Clean Air
Act and the challenges ahead in ensuring
that everyone has a right to breathe clean,
smoke-free air.
