MEETING ON KEYSTONE EXAMS

State Senator Andy Dinniman will hold a
public meeting on Pennsylvania’s
end-of-course Keystone Exams on Monday,
February 1, 2010, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at
New Eagle Elementary School in the
multi-purpose room.
The meeting will feature important
information on the revised Keystone Exams
and what they mean for Pennsylvania
students, teachers and schools.
“Over the past several months I’ve heard
many residents’ thoughts and concerns
regarding Pennsylvania’s end-of-course
Keystone Exams. Since then, the regulations
calling for exams have been changed
significantly to address some of these very
same concerns and criticisms,” Dinniman
said. “I hope everyone can join us for an
informative evening and opportunity to ask
any questions about the exams.”
Dinniman will be in attendance along with
Eileen Flinn, his executive director of the
Senate Education Committee, Adam Schott,
Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Board
of Education and Rich Maraschiello, Special
Assistant to the Pennsylvania Department of
Education.

New Eagle Elementary School is located at
