SEN. FARNESE’S OFFICE COLLECTING BLANKETS, TOWELS FOR SPCA

Farnese

PHILADELPHIA, December 28 State Sen. Larry Farnese’s Philadelphia office is collecting blankets and towels for the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

“Everyone deserves warmth and comfort during these cold winter months, including the animals that currently live at the SPCA,” Farnese said. “Clean blankets and towels help keep our furry friends comfortable in their kennels, so I encourage everyone to check their closets and donate whatever they can spare.”

Residents can bring washable clean new or used blankets and towels to the senator’s district office, located at 1802 S. Broad St. in South Philadelphia. The items will be donated to the Pennsylvania SPCA headquarters at 350 E. Erie Ave.

“Whether you love animals, you want to support a local cause or you’re just looking to donate unused blankets and towels, this is a great opportunity to help the SPCA and the wonderful animals they care for,” Farnese said.
