Hughes To Sponsor “Groceries for Guns” Exchange

          PHILADELPHIA, February 5 – State Sen. Vincent Hughes (D-Phila.), U.S. Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA), Phila. Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown, and other West Philadelphia elected officials will sponsor a "Groceries for Guns" exchange on Saturday, February 10.

          As part of a growing effort to get guns off of the streets of Philadelphia, Hughes and others are encouraging individuals to trade guns for $200 food vouchers.  The “Groceries for Guns” exchange is quick, safe and anonymous.   No questions will be asked.
