Hughes SponsorS “Goods for Guns” Exchange

            PHILADELPHIA, December 13 – State Sen. Vincent Hughes (D-Phila) will partner with Brown Family ShopRite, Forman Mills, Radio One, Philadelphia Safety Net, U.S. Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA), Phila. Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown, and Councilman-elect Curtis Jones to sponsor a "Goods for Guns" exchange on Saturday, December 15, at Sharon Baptist Church, 3955 Conshohocken Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

            As part of mounting efforts to get guns off of the streets, citizens are being encouraged to trade guns for gift certificates.  The “Goods for Guns” exchange is quick, safe and anonymous. No questions will be asked.
