Hughes Bolsters Fathering Program With Major Grant Announcement

            PHILADELPHIA, July 31 - Senator Vincent Hughes (D-Phila) will announce a major grant to the Philadelphia Comprehensive Center for Fathers (PCCF) to bolster its program development activities tomorrow, August 1st at 3:00 p.m. at the organization’s center city headquarters.

PCCF’s programs focus on helping fathers to improve their parenting skills.  The organization provides a wide array of motivational and educational services to custodial and non-custodial fathers over the age of 18, with minor TANF eligible children.

Its programs, among others, include life and parenting skills support and training, educational training, GED preparation and testing, nutrition/health improvement, and work readiness.
