          PHILADELPHIA, November 27 - Are you losing heat and money in your household?

          Save money and gain a basic understanding of cost-effective ways to reduce your energy usage and save money this winter when you attend an Energy Conservation Workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Lawncrest Recreation Center, 6000 Rising Sun Ave.

          Sponsored by state Sen. Shirley M. Kitchen and the Energy Coordinating Agency, this event is free and open to everyone regardless of income.

          Attendees will learn how to seal their home through tips on using plastic storm windows, weather stripping and V-seal. Free weatherization materials will be offered.

          Philadelphia Gas Works will be on hand to check your gas usage pattern and offer suggestions on how to cut back on using the utility. PGW requests that you bring your gas bill or account number with you.

          Attendees can also find out if they qualify for discounted oil programs.
