PHILADELPHIA,
November 2 –
State Sen. Shirley M. Kitchen will host her
upcoming Mortgage Foreclosure and Public
Utility Clinic, with the goal of assisting
constituents who are facing foreclosure,
suffering from a predatory mortgage loan or
wondering how to pay for their utilities
this winter.
“Homeownership is a huge
responsibility that can often lead to
financial trouble,” Kitchen said. “However,
help is available, so I urge everyone to
come out and receive valuable information
that will benefit homeowners and their
families.”
The free clinic will take place
on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at John Hartranft School, 720 W. Cumberland
St.
Residents are invited to talk one on one
with authorized representatives from PECO,
PGW, the Water Revenue Bureau and more.
Participants can also learn more about
mortgage foreclosures, disputes, debt
collection, real estate fraud and more from
attorneys Robert Cocco and Matthew Weisberg.
PECO Energy is the co-sponsor of this event.
Refreshments will be served at the event.
