KITCHEN TO HOST CRIME PREVENTION SEMINAR FOR SENIORS FRIDAY

PHILADELPHIA, May 21 - State Senator Shirley Kitchen is hosting a free Senior Crime Prevention Seminar in Philadelphia this Friday with information on crime prevention topics ranging from avoiding scams to protecting oneself. 

The seminar will be held Friday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, 16th Street and Girard Avenue in Philadelphia. 

The event, co-hosted by state Committeewoman Eva Lighty and Chairperson Louise Bundy, will feature speakers from the Philadelphia Police Department, Attorney General’s Office and Attorney George Gossett Jr. They will discuss identity theft, protecting oneself, avoiding scams, preventing fraud and more.
