– State
Sen. Shirley Kitchen today said people can
visit

a career with the Pennsylvania State Police.
“I urge anyone interested in law
enforcement work to look into a possible
career as a state trooper,” Kitchen said.

and would provide a wide range of

state police information such as
requirements and starting salary, state
police training information and even an
online application.
Kitchen said applicants must be at least
20-years-old, reside in Pennsylvania, have
no criminal record and have a high school
diploma or a G.E.D. Certificate, plus an
Associate’s Degree or 60 semester credit
hours at an accredited institution of higher
education.
The starting salary is $50,740. |
