KITCHEN, COMMUNITY ACCOUNTANTS OFFER STUDENTS BANKING SEMINAR

WHO:               State Sen. Shirley Kitchen (D-Philadelphia),                                    Community Accountants 

WHAT:              Money management seminar, including the topics of accounting and taxes, for the Murrell Dobbins Career and Technical Education High School’s Entrepreurship Class, which consists of 10th and 11th grade students.

WHERE:           Class room number 511, Dobbins High School, 2150 W. Lehigh Ave., Philadelphia 

DETAILS:         Sen. Kitchen will join Community Accountants to offer high school seniors a seminar that will focus on banking, budgeting and accounting and basic money management skills. 

                        Community Accountants provides pro bono accounting-related services through volunteers to help non-profit organizations become self-sufficient. The organization teaches financial oversight, accounting, and bookkeeping services to ensure high standards of financial management to help nonprofit organizations move into the future. 

                        Media participation is welcomed and encouraged.
