PHILADELPHIA, December 2: The public is invited to attend a free Mortgage Foreclosure and Public Utility Clinic, hosted by state Sen. Shirley Kitchen.

The clinic takes place on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 1100 W. Rockland St.

The clinic will help constituents who are facing foreclosure, suffering from a predatory mortgage loan or wondering how to pay for their utilities this winter.

“Whether a homeowner is facing mounting mortgage bills or utility bills, this workshop is the place to talk to experts and find real solutions to their issues,” Kitchen said.  “I encourage everyone to attend this free workshop.”

Residents are invited to talk one on one with authorized representatives from LIHEAP, PECO, PGW, the Water Revenue Bureau, Neighborhood Energy Centers and more. Participants can also learn more about mortgage foreclosures, disputes, debt collection, real estate fraud and more from experts.

Refreshments will be served at the event. For more information, call the senator’s district office at 215-227-6161 or visit www.senatorkitchen.com
