KITCHEN ANNOUNCES UPCOMING FREE COMMUNITY

State Sen. Shirley Kitchen invites the
community to see the Philadelphia Orchestra
perform at an upcoming free concert.
The free Neighborhood Concert will take
place at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 31 at
Deliverance Evangelistic Church, 2001 W.
Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia Orchestra Assistant
Conductor Danail Rachev conducts a program
of popular classics featuring mezzo-soprano
Marietta Simpson.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the
whole family to enjoy the sights and sounds
of the renowned Philadelphia Orchestra in
our own Allegheny West community,” Kitchen
said. “It’s a unique and free way to spend a
summer evening, so I encourage everyone to
attend this music-filled event.”
Seating is indoors and admission is first
come, first served.
