DETAILS:         Senate Democratic lawmakers will discuss legislative efforts to address Philadelphia’s fiscal crisis.   

Last week, the House of Representatives approved House Bill 1828.  If the measure is not enacted by Aug. 15, Mayor Michael Nutter has said the city will be forced to lay off thousands of workers and eliminate many city services.
