MONDAY CHECK PRESENTATION EVENTS

• State Senator Robert J. Mellow (D-Lackawanna) and State Representative Mike Carroll (D-Luzerne) will present a major rail freight grant to Avoca borough officials on Monday, April 14 at 9 AM at the site of the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad Crossing on McAlpine Street in Avoca. In attendance will be Avoca mayor Robert Mullen and members of Avoca Borough Council.

• Senator Mellow will also present a Technology Development grant to Our Lady of Peace School, 410 N. Abington Road, Clarks Green at 1:00 PM on April 14.
