Harrisburg - The Senate this week unanimously passed Senate Bill 356, which would exempt uncompensated Little League baseball volunteers from paying the State Police’s $10 fee for conducting criminal background clearance checks.
The
bill now goes to the House.

By a unanimous vote, the Senate approved House Bill 266, which would make the maximum penalty (15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine) for dealing the designer drug “Ecstasy” consistent between the Crimes Code and Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act.
The
bill now goes to the Governor.
