The Senate voted unanimously in favor of an amended Senate Bill 86.  This bill would permit businesses to resell event tickets online, provided they are registered with Department of State or have a physical address in Pennsylvania. The reseller of the tickets would also have to offer a guaranteed refund in the event of the ticket not being honored in any form.

The bill is now on the Governor’s desk.

            The Senate adopted Senate Resolution 135, which directs the Joint State Government Commission to establish a task force and advisory committee to study the distribution and use of methadone and make a report to the Senate with recommendations for changes in state law and regulations.
