SB 1484 (Solobay) The bill amends the Vehicle Code to provide additional penalties for drivers who cause death or serious bodily injury to highway workers and emergency responders.

SB 1490 (Scarnati) The bill renames the Main St. Bridge in Brockway Borough, Jefferson Count, as the Ensign USN Connie Rita Esposito Memorial Bridge.

HB 1159 (Bizzarro) The bill amends the Vehicle Code to provide for a third-party driver’s license examinations.

HB 573 (Fleck) The bill amends the Vehicle Code creating definitions of “Neighborhood Electric Vehicle” and “Pedacycle with Electric Assist” and provides for the operation of such vehicles.

SB 1358 (Rafferty) The bill places a number of measures in Pennsylvania law concerning the governance of DRPA. In order to amend the interstate compact which governs the authority, these reforms must be adopted by both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the compact must be approved by Congress.

SB 1373 (Rafferty) The bill grants veto power to the Governor of Pennsylvania over actions of Pennsylvania’s Commissioners on the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) Board.

HB 241 (Petri) The amends Title 75 further defining fire department vehicle.

HB 2092 (Keller) The bill amends Title 75 to provide a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) exemption for drivers of covered farm vehicles to conform to Federal Law.

HB 1415 (Maloney) The bill amends the Vehicle Code (Title 75) to provide for the Share the Road registration plate.

HB 2244 (Micozzie) This legislation provides capital authorization for the restoration, rehabilitation, or replacement of state-owned bridges and bridges owned by counties and municipalities. The total authorization for state-owned bridges is $4,929,005,000. The total authorization for bridges owned by counties and municipalities is $1, 586,560,000.

HB 1929 (Causer) – Teh bill designates a bridge on that portion of State Route 6 at Segment 0730 Offset 1125 over the Marvin Creek, Smethport Borough, McKean County, as the Bucktail Regiment Memorial Bridge.

HB 2068 (S.H. Smith) – The bill designates the bridge carrying State Route 119 over Big Creek Run in Big Run Borough, Jefferson County, as the SFC Scott R. Smith Memorial Bridge.

HB 2093 (Miccarelli) – The bill designates the 700 to 800 block of U.S. Route 13, also known as the Chester Pike, in Prospect Park Borough, Delaware County, as the Officers Luke Conner and John Horace Callaghan Memorial Highway.

Runyan Memorial Bridge; designates the traffic circle on State Route 116 at Hanover Road and Roth’s Church Road in Spring Grove, York County, as the Officer David D. Tome Memorial Circle; designating a bridge on State Route 116 in Spring Grove Borough, York County, as the Specialist Cameron J. Stambaugh Memorial Bridge; designates a bridge on that portion of State Route 4002 between Intermediate Avenue and Municipal Drive in Dover Borough, York County, as the Specialist Zachary R. Clouser Memorial Bridge; and designates the bridge on State Route 74 between Drawbaugh Avenue and Mill Alley, Dover Borough, York County, as the Sergeant Brett E. Walden Memorial Bridge.

HB 1899 (C. Harris) – The bill designates the bridge that carries State Route 35 over the Juniata River, in Juniata County, as the Juniata County Veterans Memorial Bridge.

HB 2019 (Pyle) – The bill designates a bridge on that portion of S.R. 128 over Buffalo Creek, Freeport Borough, Armstrong County, as the Freeport Veterans Bridge.
