HB 2058 (Farry) – This legislation authorizes paramedics to conduct blood draws at the police station on behalf of municipal police departments for alleged driving under the influence (DUI) cases.
HB 2148 (Farry) – This legislation will amend Act 193 of 1935, the Enforcement Officer Disability Benefits Law, to include first responders who were overlooked when the law was drafted.

HB 1683 (Warner) – This legislation will grant municipalities that levy an earned income tax the option to waive that tax for volunteer firefighters and volunteers at nonprofit emergency medical service (EMS) agencies.

HB 1727 (Saccone) – This legislation amends Chapter 37 of Title 51 (Military Affairs) by creating two new decorations to the list of existing medals, badges, and awards that are authorized and presented by the Governor in the name of the Commonwealth: the Pennsylvania Medal of Achievement and the Pennsylvania Veterans Service Award.
HB 2026 (Jozwiak) – This legislation amends Title 51 (Military Affairs) and 74 (Transportation) to create the Civil Air Patrol as part of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

HB 1600 (Mackenzie) – This legislation amends Title 51 (Military Affairs) to provide a fee waiver for veteran and service-disabled veteran owned businesses, to be known as Pennsylvania Start Ups for Soldiers. Amendment A08316 was adopted in committee, the amendment adds reporting requirements from the Dept. of State. Amendment A0340 was also adopted in committee, the amendment was purely technical in nature. Both amendments were passed unanimously.
