SB 334, PN 1143 (Pileggi) – This bill is Joint Resolution proposing integrated amendments to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, eliminating the Traffic Court of Philadelphia.  The Senate concurred in amendments placed by the House to the bill by a vote of 50-0.

B 145, PN 927 (Ward) – This legislation amends the Mechanics’ Lien Law, providing for exceptions for liens filed by subcontractors and for court discharges of lien payments.  Senator Ward offered amendment A01810 which was largely technical in nature.  The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over in its order as amended.

HB 293, PN 1730 (Causer) – This bill designates three bridges in Potter County.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 738, PN 1146 (Yaw) – A free standing act that provides for distribution system extension and expansion plans to increase the use of natural gas in Pennsylvania. The bill is known as the “Natural Gas Consumer Access Act.”  Senator Tartaglione offered amendment A02126 which excludes city natural gas distribution operations from the bill.  A vote of 49-1 was recorded on the amendment and the bill went over in its order as amended.

SB 739, PN 1147 (Yaw) – This bill amends the “Alternative Energy Investment Act” (Act 1 of Sp Sess, 2008) to allocate funds for natural gas access.  A vote of 38-12 was recorded.

SB 928, PN 1189 (Gordner) – This bill amends the Unemployment Compensation Law to establish the Service and Infrastructure Improvement Fund and provide for contributions to the Fund.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.
