SB 244, PN2202 (Kasunic) – This bill amends Article XIV (relating to School Health Services) of act of March 10, 1949 (P.L. 30, No. 14), known as the Public School Code by adding a new section relating to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).  A vote 48-0 was recorded.

SB 941, PN 1116 (Corman) – This bill amends Title 18 further providing for public drunkenness and similar misconduct and for purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages.  A vote of 45-3 was recorded.

SB 943, PN 2236 (Corman) – This bill amends Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) in financial matters, imposing an alcohol offense prevention fee in certain municipalities.  A vote of 46-2 was recorded.

HB 1349, PN 3587 (Pickett) – This bill amends the Regulatory Act by requiring state agencies to consider the impact of proposed regulations on small businesses.  Senator Waugh offered Amendment A12018, which provides for further regulations.  The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over as amended.

SB 1551, PN 2245 (Greenleaf) – This bill amends Title 74 as it pertains to scenic byways.  Senator Greenleaf offered Amendment A12039, which provides for further signage requirements.  The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over as amended.

SB 920, PN 2265 (Browne) – This legislation creates the “Carbon Monoxide Alarm Standards Act,” which regulates the installation, maintenance and requirements of carbon monoxide alarms in Pennsylvania.  Senator Waugh offered Amendment A12039, which redefines “approved carbon monoxide alarms.  The amendment was agreed to and the bill moved up as amended.
