SB 5, PN 967 (Erickson) – This bill establishes the Community-Based Health Care (CHC) program in the Department of Health to provide grants to community-based health care clinics.  The Senate concurred in House amendments to the bill by a vote of 49-0.

SB 526, PN 489 (Waugh) – Amends Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes regarding the documentation required to exhibit animals at livestock shows.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 583, IN 645 (Barrar) – House Bill 583 aims to ensure the solvency of the wireless 911 fund, which will be functionally bankrupt by 2014.  The legislation has three main components:  1) it encourages but does not require the regionalization of 911 centers to cut costs; 2) it clarifies that no public safety answering point (PSAP) can be funded for more than 70 percent of its agency-approved personnel training, salary and benefit costs; and 3) it stops the carryover of unfunded liabilities from year to year in the 911 fund.  A vote of 48-1 was recorded.

SB 851, PN 909 (Smucker) – This bill renames the bridge on State Route 222 over the Amtrak rail lines in the City of Lancaster, Lancaster County.  The bridge is currently known as the Lititz Pike Bridge and would be renamed the Thaddeus Stevens Bridge.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 867, PN 964 (Greenleaf) – Amends §5781 of the Crimes Code, Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, to extend the expiration date for the Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance Control Act to December 31, 2018.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
