SB 1466, PN2165 (Corman) – This legislation is the General Appropriations bill as proposed by the Governor for fiscal year 2012-13.  Senator Kitchen offered Amendment A10355, which increases funding for employment and training and supportive services for cash assistance recipients by $150 million.  The amendment was defeated 18-29.  Senator Ferlo offered Amendment A10357, which would restore $84 million in funding to the Human Services Development Fund.  The amendment was defeated 20-27.  Senator Fontana offered Amendment A10356, which would restore $17 million in funding for child care services.  The amendment was defeated 20-27.  Senator Dinniman offered Amendment A10353, which would restore $50 million in funding to the Accountability Block Grant Program.  The amendment was defeated 20-27.  Senator Stack offered Amendment A10354, which would add $100 million in funding for the Adult Basic Health Insurance Program.  Senator Stack noted that 41,000 people were dropped from the program when it ended, and many of those people have not found new coverage.  The amendment was defeated 20-27.  Senator Stack proceeded to offer Amendment A10329, which would use $60 million in the General Assembly surplus to fund Adult Basic.  The Amendment was defeated 12-35.  A vote of 39-8 was recorded on the bill.

SB 1472, PN2066 (Corman) – This legislation appropriates the Governor’s requested amount to fund the administrative costs of the State Employees Retirement System (SERS) for the 2012-13 fiscal year.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB 1473, PN 2067 (Corman) – This legislation appropriates the Governor’s requested amount to fund the administrative costs of the Public School Retirement System (PSERS) for the 2012-13 fiscal year.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB 1474, PN 2068 (Corman) – This legislation would make an appropriation from the Professional Licensure Augmentation Account and from restricted revenue accounts within the General Fund to the Department of State for operations.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB 1475, PN 2069 (Corman) – This legislation is the appropriation for the Public Utility Commission for the 2012-13 Fiscal Year.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB 1476, PN 2070 (Corman) – This legislation would make an appropriation from a restricted revenue account within the General Fund to the Office of Small Business Advocate in the Department of Community and Economic Development.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB 1477, PN 2071 (Corman) – This legislation appropriates the total sum of $66,727,000 from the State Gaming Fund and restricted revenue accounts within the State Gaming Fund to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, the Department of Revenue, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Office of Attorney General for costs related to oversight of the gaming industry for FY 2012-13.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB 1478, PN 2072 (Corman) – This legislation provides for appropriations from the Workmen’s Compensation Administration Fund to the Department of Labor and Industry and to the Department of Community and Economic Development.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB 1479, PN 2073 (Corman) – This legislation appropriates $5,173,000 from a restricted revenue account within the General Fund to the Office of Consumer Advocate (OCA) in the Office of Attorney General.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.
