SB 260, PN 240 (Ward) – This bill amends the Crime Victims Act to add members to the Victim Services’ Advisory Committee and make technical changes. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
SB 554, PN 613 (Greenleaf) – Amends Titles 18 (Crimes & Offenses) and 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) to address the procedures that can be applied to victims of human trafficking who are encountered by law enforcement officers. Senator Leach offered amendment A0681, which was technical in nature. The amendment was agreed to. Senator Leach also offered amendment A0993, which was technical in nature. The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over in its order as amended.
SB 95, PN 315 (Farnese) – This bill amends Title 42 (Judiciary & Judicial Procedure) providing for immunity for constitutionally protected communications. Senator Farnese offered amendment A0991, which makes technical changes and removes the definition for “moving party who prevails.” The amendment was agreed to and the bill was agreed to as amended.
