SB 251, PN 300 (Vulakovich) – This bill amends Title 75, the Vehicle Code, to allow for the use of radar by local police departments.  Senator Vulakovich offered amendment A00547, which deletes the requirement that local police departments using radar file an annual report with the Department of Revenue.  The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over in its order as amended.

SB 540, PN 1295 (Mensch) – This bill would allow students to be excused from school if they are participating in a musical performance with a national veterans’ organization or incorporated unit for an event or funeral.   A vote of 48-0 was recorded.

SB 877, PN 1135 (White) – This bill amends The Insurance Department Act of 1921 to allow insurers to offer or give customers or prospective customers up to $100 in inducements, and also prohibits the Pennsylvania Insurance Department from not allowing insurers to do so.  A vote of 48-0 was recorded.

SB 878, PN 1136 (White) – This bill amends the Insurance Company Act of 1921 to allow insurance companies to offer or give customers or prospective customers up to $100 in inducements, and to offer risk management and loss control services.  A vote of 48-0 was recorded.
