HB 89, PN 79 (Harper) – Amends the Judicial Code to provide for an increase in the mandatory retirement age for judges and magisterial district judges, from 70 to 75 years, in the event that a corresponding amendment is made to the PA Constitution.  A vote of 36-13 was recorded.

HB 90, PN 251 (Harper) – Proposes a Constitutional Amendment providing for compensation and retirement of justices, judges, and justices of the peace.  A vote of 36-13 was recorded.

SB 482, PN 748 (Brewster) – This legislation would amend the Real Estate Tax Sale Law by establishing an optional County Demolition and Rehabilitation Fund in certain counties as a tool to fight blight.  Senator Gordner offered amendment A03734 on behalf of Senator Browne, which was technical in nature.  The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over in its order as amended.

HB 753, PN 1052 (Schlegel Culver) – This legislation creates the Long-term Care Council within the Department of Aging.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 955, PN 1178 (Ward) – The bill designates the interchange of Interstate 70 and Pennsylvania Route 119 in Westmoreland County as the Edwin “Lance” Wentzel Memorial Interchange.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 956, 1179 (Ward) – SB 956 designates a bridge on that portion of State Route 711 over the Loyalhanna Creek in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County, as the Lieutenant Eric Eslary Memorial Bridge.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 988, PN 1223 (White) – SB 988 designates a bridge on that portion of State Route 403 over the Two Lick Creek, Borough of Clymer, Indiana County as the Sergeant James Robert Pantall Memorial Bridge.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 989, PN 1224 (White) – SB 989 designates a bridge on that portion of State Route 580 over the Susquehanna River, Cherry Tree Borough, Indiana County, as the Airman Second Class Gerald Emmett Johnson Memorial Bridge.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 263, PN 267 (Gabler) – This bill amends Title 34 (Game) to allow hunting with air, chemical or gas powered firearms.  Senator Gordner offered amendment A03819 on behalf of Senator Scarnati, which provides for a special-license fundraiser for elk hunting.  The amendment was agreed to and the Senate agreed to the bill as amended.

SB 735, PN 1368 (Vogel) – Amends Title 3 (Agriculture) to allow mobile retail food facilities to operate in multiple food safety jurisdictions without having to pay multiple fees in each county it operates.  Senator Vogel offered amendment A04108 which was technical in nature.  The amendment was agreed to and the Senate agreed to the bill as amended.

HB 838, PN 1006 (Santora) – HB 838 renames the Garret Road Bridge in Upper Darby Township, Delaware County, as the Nicholas A. Micozzie Bridge.  Senator Gordner offered amendment A03919 which designates additional roadways and a building.  The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over in its order as amended.
