SB 390 PN 1793 (Brubaker) The bill would create a vehicle classification of “custom farm service implement of husbandry” and provide an exemption from registration for this vehicle class when operated within the increased distance limitation of 50 miles between farmers’ farms and between a farm and an agribusiness center. The bill was unanimously approved.

SB 1264 PN 1779 (Baker) The bill establishes and makes an appropriation for the Supplemental Individual Assistance Program for individuals suffering losses due to Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. The bill was approved, 48-1.

SB 1266 PN 1773 (Gordner) This bill authorizes a bond of no more than $250 million to pay for the damage caused by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. The bill was unanimously approved.

SB 1267 PN 1722 (Gordner) Creates the Real Estate Tax Abatement for Properties Damaged by Hurricane Irene or Tropical Storm Lee Act. The bill was unanimously approved.

SB 1268 PN 1794 (Gordner) This bill itemizes capital projects in the category of public highway projects to be constructed by the Department of Transportation. The bill was unanimously approved.

SB 1269 PN 1795 (Yaw) This bill itemizes capital projects in the categories of bridges to be constructed by the Department of Transportation, and Railroad Disaster Assistance. The bill was unanimously approved.

SB 1271 PN 1796 (Yudichak) The bill itemizes disaster capital budget projects and disaster mitigation and assistance projects to be constructed by the Department of General Services. The bill was unanimously approved.

SB 1297 PN 1797 (Baker) The bill would create a Small Business Flood Relief Program for small businesses that are located in a county that has been declared a Federal disaster area as a result of Hurricane Irene or Tropical Storm Lee. The bill was unanimously approved.

SB 1323 PN 1783 (Yaw) This bill amends Title 3 – The First Industries Program administered by the CFA by reducing the minimum project amount guarantee from $500,000 to zero and removes the 2% fee of the total guarantee amount for loans guaranteed under this program. The bill was unanimously approved.

HB 1644 PN 2730 (Dunbar) This legislation amends §1805(b) of the County Code provisions on the sale of personal property to permit electronic auction sales, and for the advertisement announcing these online sales. The bill was unanimously approved.

HB 1875 PN 2437 (Aument) The bridge that carries SR 462 over NS in Mountville, Lancaster County would be known as the Mountville Veterans Memorial Bridge. The bill was unanimously approved.
