SB 1546, PN 2434 (Gordner) – This legislation repeals the Act of June 27, 1947 (the State Tax Equalization Board Law), and moves the Board under the purview of the Department of Community and Economic Development.  The Senate concurred in House amendments to Senate amendments as further amended by the Senate by a vote of 49-0.

SB 444, PN 2433 (Earll) – This bill amends the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act by increasing the prize limits for games, and making several additional changes.  The Senate concurred in House amendments as amended by the Senate by a vote of 46-3.

SB 201, PN 2384 (Rafferty) – This bill amends the Insurance Company Law of 1921, providing for access to community pharmacy services.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 657, PN 671 (Ward) – The bill amends Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) by adding county park police force in a third class county that is contiguous with a second class (Westmoreland County) to the list of police officers that must receive training from the Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 991, PN 2413 (Argall) – The bill establishes the Service Contract Automatic Renewal Act to require a seller of service contract that includes an automatic renewal provision to disclose the automatic renewal to the consumer.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 1185, PN 2274 (Waugh) – This legislation amends the First Class Township Code (Act 331 of 1931) to establish the elective office of tax collector and to provide for the appointed position of township treasurer.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 1303, PN 2137 (Williams) – Senate Bill 1303 amends section 696 of the Public School Code of 1949 to provide flexibility in setting tax rates for school districts of the first class.  Senator Kitchen offered amendment A13195 which was technical in nature.  The Senate agreed to the amendment and the bill went over in its order as amended.

SB 1352, PN 2414 (Gordner) – The bill amends the Speech-Language and Hearing Licensure Act by updating the statute.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 1402, PN 2415 (Alloway) – This bill amends Title 30 (Fish) to make numerous updates and revisions throughout the Title that incorporate past regulatory practice, Court decisions, and removal of obsolete provisions.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 1591, PN 2380 (Folmer) – Amends the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error (MCARE) Act to repeal the requirement that the Insurance Department prepares an annual Medical Malpractice statistical report.  A vote of 47-2 was recorded.

HB 2324, PN 3399 (Keller) – This bill amends the Public Auditorium Authorities Law to increase bid thresholds and provide for annual adjustments tied to the Consumer Price Index.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
