SB 133 PN 555 (Ward): This bill would require the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to request an extension for compliance with the federal Real ID Act of 2005 and provide Pennsylvania with the option to receiving a standard or Real ID-compliant license or identification card. Further, it would repeal the Pennsylvania Real ID Nonparticipation Act of 2012. The bill was approved 46-2.

SB 250 PN 541 (Ward): This bill amends the Unemployment Compensation Law to provide up to $15 million in funding to the Service and Infrastructure Improvement Fund for calendar year 2017. Senator Gordner offered Amendment A00573, which would require the Department of Labor and Industry (Department) to present the Senate with a report including performance data when an unemployment compensation call center is closed and require the Department to create a report detailing a plan to end reliance on money transfers to fund operational costs. The amendment was adopted, 45-2 and the bill went over as amended.

SR 44 PN 563 (Wagner): This resolution condemns acts of hate and vandalism against the Jewish community within Pennsylvania and across the country. The resolution was unanimously adopted.
