SB 1073, PN 1656 (Vulakovich) – The legislation amends the Enforcement Officer Disability Benefits Law, commonly known as the “Heart and Lung Act” to add several classes of officers to the provisions of the act. Senator Brewster offered amendment A09783 which extends benefits to other corrections officers. Senator Vulakovich offered amendment A09875 which makes technical corrections concerning ranger supervisors. Both amendments were agreed to by a voice vote and the bill went over in its order as amended.
