SB 635, PN 1660 (Browne) – This bill allows for further consolidation of the collection of local, non-real estate taxes. A vote of 39-10 was recorded.
SB 961, PN 1585 (Rafferty) – Amends Titles 18 and 75, to increase mandatory minimum sentencing for homicide by vehicle when the offender is Driving Under the Influence (“DUI”) and has prior DUI offenses. Also imposes additional measures for multiple DUI offenses, homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, and aggravated assault with DUI. A vote of 45-4 was recorded.
SB 1090, PN 1661 (Corman) – Amends Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) and Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) to create the offenses of hazing, aggravated hazing, institutional hazing, and organizational hazing. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
