SB 748 PN 1313 (Argall): This bill amends Title 75 (Vehicles) in order to eliminate the mandatory escort of super-sized loads by the Pennsylvania State Police and replaces them with certified pilot escorts. The Senate concurred the House’s amendments with a vote of (49-0).

SB 925 PN 1303 (Rafferty): This bill amends Title 75 (Vehicles) further providing for definitions, for employer responsibilities, for commercial driver’s license qualification standards, for nonresident CDL, for commercial driver’s license and for disqualification. The Senate concurred the House’s amendments with a vote of (49-0).

HB 239 PN 2334 (Greiner): This bill amends County Pension Law to provide that Cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) do not need to be applied retroactively to the date of the last COLA.  The bill was approved (49-0).

SB 501 PN 1315 (Eichelberger): This bill provides for protection of paycheck and for the collection of political contributions by creating the Protection of Employee Wages Act. This bill prohibits public employers from deducting money to be used for political contributions from the wages of a public employee. The bill was approved (26-23).

SB 791 PN 951 (Eichelberger): This bill amends The Second Class Township Code to provide for the removal elected officers from second class townships. The bill was approved (49-0).

HB 904 PN 1124 (Gingrich): This bill amends the First Class Township Code in order to align sections on property maintenance codes, the PA Construction Code, and building codes with the Borough Code and the Third Class City Code. The bill was approved (49-0).

HB 906 PN 1103 (Harper): This bill amends The First Class Township Code to provide for the removal elected officers from first class townships. The bill was approved (49-0).

HB 910 PN 1105 (Harper): This bill amends provisions relating to the removal of elected officers in incorporated towns. The bill was approved (49-0).
