HB 447 PN 1037 (Saylor): This bill would amend the Landlord and Tenant Act to include provisions that would limit the rent that could be charged by a landlord to one’s estate if an individual died while renting a residential unit. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 683 PN 1427 (Rapp): This bill amends the Taxpayer Relief Act, in senior citizens property tax and rent rebate assistance, further providing for definitions. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 869 PN 4070 (Bizzarro): This bill amends Title 18 (Crimes Code) regarding cruelty to animals and would increase penalties for tethering, add protections to horses to prevent abuse, and increase other penalties for animal cruelty. The bill was approved 50-0.

SB 976 PN 2165 (Greenleaf): This bill amends Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) and Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) to amend the Wiretap Act to allow audio and audiovisual recording by law enforcement officers under certain circumstances. The bill was approved 45-5.

HB 1734 PN 2598 (Wentling): This bill would provide teachers and administrators an additional year to complete their continuing education requirements under Act 48. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 1841 PN 2877 (Killion): The bill amends the Medical Practice Act to provide for temporary graduate perfusionist licensure. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 1842 PN 2878 (Killion): The bill amends the Osteopathic Medical Practice Act to provide for temporary graduate perfusionist licensure. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 1923 PN 3032 (Santora): The bill designates a portion of State Route 2005 in Drexel Hill, Delaware County, as the Officer Dennis McNamara Memorial Highway. The bill was approved 50-0.
