SB 1000 PN 1232 (Browne): General Appropriations bill that would appropriate $11.22 billion to fund four months of the General Fund budget based on the spending plan put forth in HB1192. Senator Corman made a motion to reconsider SB 1000 and ask for an override on the Governor Wolf’s veto. The override needed 2/3 of the Senate or 33 votes to override. The override failed 30-19, along party lines.
SB 942 PN 1174 (Argall): Amends the Municipal Code and Ordinance Compliance Act by reducing the amount of time an individual has after a purchase to bring a building/structure that has at least one substantial violation up to compliance with the municipal code. The bill was approved, 49-0.
