HB 453 PN 2410 (Ryan): This bill amends the Fiscal Code to address the fiscal operations, revenue and potential liabilities of the Commonwealth to meet the requirements of Article VIII, Section 13 of the Pennsylvania Constitution and to implement the General Appropriation Act of 2017.  The Senate non-concurred the House amendments by a vote of 43-7.

SB 751 PN 925 (White): This bill provides for the licensure and regulation of mortgage servicers—non-bank entities that handle daily actions between lender and consumer, such as collection and recording of payments, payment of taxes and insurance from escrow, calculating interest rates, negotiating loan modifications, and supervising foreclosures.  The bill was approved by a vote of 50-0.
