SB 648 PN 1275 (Stefano): Amends Chapter 77 of Title 75 (Vehicle Code) to provide for separate accounts for snowmobiles and ATV’s. Senator Wiley offered Amendment A03446, which makes splitting of fees into 2 restricted accounts prospective. Changes in the bill wouldn’t apply to funds deposited in the current restricted account prior to the effective date of the legislation. The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over as amended.

SB 685 PN 1000 (Corman): Amends the Medical Practice Act to allow for state licensure exemption for visiting team physicians. The bill was approved, 48-0.

SB 686 PN 1001 (Corman): Amends the Osteopathic Medical Practice Act to allow for state licensure exemption for visiting team physicians. The bill was approved, 48-0.

SB 898 PN 1064 (Hutchinson): Amends the Second Class County Code (Act 230 of 1953) to expand the anti-windfall provisions to cover any special tax created through a referendum under the Taxpayer Relief Act of 2006. The bill was approved, 48-0.

SB 899 PN 1065 (Hutchinson): Amends Chapter 88 of Title 53, known as the Consolidated County Assessment Law, to expand the anti-windfall provisions to cover any special tax created through a referendum under the Taxpayer Relief Act of 2006. The bill was approved, 48-0.
