SB 8, PN717: The legislation amends the Vehicle Code relating to driving under the influence to reduce the legal blood concentration limit.  The blood alcohol content is reduced from 0.10% to 0.08%.  The bill also further provides for visual and audible signals on emergency vehicles, for the Child Passenger Restraint Fund and for civil immunity for lenders of child passenger restraint systems.  A 47-0 vote was recorded.

SB 201, PN593: The legislation designates the portion of Interstate 78 in Lehigh and Northampton Counties from the Berks County Line to the Delaware River as the Walter J. Dealtrey Memorial Highway.  A 47-0 vote was recorded.

SB 271, PN273: The legislation renames the section of State Route 424 in Luzerne County currently known as the Hazleton South Beltway to the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Beltway.  A 47-0 vote was recorded.  

SB 319, PN718: The legislation authorizes Pennsylvania to join the Interstate Compact for Juveniles and establishes the State Council for Interstate Juvenile Supervision.  The compact manages the interstate movement of adjudicated youth, the return of non-adjudicated runaway youth, and the return of youth to states where they were charged with delinquent acts.  A 47-0 vote was recorded. 

SB 441, PN 459:The legislation amends the Domestic Relations Code to authorize an active, retired or senior bankruptcy judge of the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern, Middle or Western District of Pennsylvania to solemnize marriages.  A 45-2 vote was recorded.  

SB 461, PN 492 The legislation designates the main access drive connecting State Route 258 to the State Regional Correctional Facility in Findley Township, Mercer County as Walters Drive.  A 47-0 vote was recorded.
