SB 255, PN1050: The legislation creates the Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant Act.  The bill increases the reimbursement of costs related to installing, retrofitting or purchasing of alternative fueled vehicles from 20% to 50% of project costs.  In the case of school districts, municipal authorities, political subdivisions and nonprofit groups, the grant would be for 60% of project costs.  It also establishes a rebate program for residents of the Commonwealth who purchase a hybrid vehicle.

A2777(Tomlinson): This amendment makes a technical change to the bill.  It re-establishes the repeal of Chapter 72 of the Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant Fund.  A 49-0 vote was recorded.   

SB 483, PN 995: The legislation amends the Insurance Company Law to require employers and trustees to notify their employees in writing of the intent of the employer or trustee to purchase a life insurance policy on the employee and obtain written consent of the employee for such a policy.

A2633(Mellow): This amendment makes a technical change to clarify the language in the bill by adding the term “person” in certain areas of the bill.  A 49-0 vote was recorded. 

HB 782, PN2306 The legislation makes several changes to the Liquor Code to further provide for enforcement by the Pennsylvania State Police, to further provide for sales and restrictions on sales by liquor licensees and retail dispenser licensees.  The bill also amends the guidelines for permitting minors to frequent licensed premises.  

A2810(Conti): This amendment makes a technical change to clarify language in the bill pertaining to tastings in certain buildings used by the board.  A 49-0 vote was recorded.

A2654(Mellow): This amendment makes a technical to the language of the bill by replacing the term “application” with the term “petition,” where it appears in the bill.  A 49-0 vote was recorded.

A2658(Mellow): This amendment makes a technical change in order to clarify language in the bill.  A 49-0 vote was recorded.
