HB 297, PN2623: The legislation amends the Public Welfare Code to provide for nursing facility assessments.  The bill also establishes the Kinship Care Program.  A 45-3 vote was recorded.

SB 8, PN1111: The legislation amends the Crimes Code, the Judicial Code and the Vehicle Code relating to driving under the influence, violations of an ignition interlock system and occupational limited licenses.   

A motion was offered to insist on Senate amendments to SB 8, which the House non-concurred, and for the President Pro Tempore to appoint a Committee of Conference on the bill.  A 48-0 vote was recorded.
