HB 2396, PN 3373
  The legislation amends the Crime Victims Act, to include references to crimes related to driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance that were incorporated into the Motor Vehicle Code, as part of Act 24 of 2003.  In making these changes, the bill clarifies that individuals who plead guilty or are convicted of these crimes must pay costs, a portion of which are paid into the Crime Victims Compensation Fund and the Victim Witness Services Fund. 

A3609 Changes the time period for when a claim can be filed from two years after the crime was committed to two years after the crime was discovered.  A 50-0 vote was recorded.

SR 211, PN 1426   This resolution directs the Joint State Government Commission to study the impact of offshore outsourcing on Pennsylvania’s service sector.

A3736 Changes the date the commission must submit the report to the General Assembly to June 30, 2005.  A 50-0 vote was recorded.
