SB 912, 1851
  This bill will permanently establish the crop insurance program in Title 3.  It would create a new Chapter 47 to be known as the Crop Insurance Law with the intent being to educate producers on the benefits of Federal crop insurance and risk management. . The state would continue to pay up to 10% of the costs of the insurance premiums but would no longer pay for the associated administrative fees and costs, a savings of approximately $750,000 that would then be applied to the premium subsidy.  A 50-0 vote was recorded.

SB 1201, PN 1863  The legislation adds a ninth exception to the advertising and bidding requirements in the Borough Code.  The exception is for real property that will be sold to a non-profit museum or historical society for its exclusive use as a non-profit museum or historical society.  A 50-0 vote was recorded.
