SB 9, PN1416  The legislation proposes an amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution.  The proposed amendment would allow the General Assembly, by statute, to limit the recovery of non-economic damages for injuries to people or for injuries resulting in death in a medical professional liability action involving a medical professional liability claim brought against a licensed health care professional.  A 30-20 vote was recorded.
